Hi! My name is Yvette and I started this blog because I believe we can contribute to our society by showing up with love, kindness and compassion for all living beings and our beautiful planet through our actions.

My vegan journey started in 2011 and happily, living a vegan and plant based lifestyle now is much easier then when I began. Choosing to change your diet is very personal and the world at present doesn’t appear to be designed to cater to vegans which might make the decision to live this lifestyle more complicated. We face cultural obstacles, social obstacles, and it can be altogether overwhelming. I started Veganlicious as a blog to offer advice and information for anyone curious about going vegan and for other vegans looking for inspiration and motivation to keep going. It’s not easy doing what appears to be the opposite of what “everyone else” is doing.

This blog has evolved to include Vegan GPT, an application designed to specifically provide information about vegan and plant based living. Our mission is to offer you inspiring and informative content that supports and empowers your journey towards a compassionate and cruelty-free lifestyle. Vegan GPT will help show you that the world offers more support for this way of living and by having conversations with Vegan GPT and you are specific in your needs and requests, the more bespoke the responses will be.
